On-site services and activities in the surrounding area

Breakfasts included in the price of the night are generally served communally in the Annex dining room, and as soon as the weather permits outside, on the terrace or in the garden, respecting the recommended distancing rules between groups of guests. Our breakfasts are healthy and delicious based on fresh produce (dairy, seasonal fruit, bread and pastries of the day; eggs and cold meats on request).
This service is provided between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. However, these times may vary depending on the hosts who wish.

The table d'hôtes is provided only by reservation in the evening. Meals are served from 7:30 p.m. in the Annex dining room, on the terrace or in the garden. This can also be done in the form of delivery of meals prepared on site or meal trays.

During these moments of conviviality , if you wish, the owners will talk to you about the history of the place linked to the industrial heritage of the Cher department
Note that guests have, if they wish , a kitchen area in the Workshop (private) and also in the Annex (common to guests of the Annex). These facilities facilitate extended stays, particularly for families.
Several restaurants in the surrounding area also offer take-out sales.


The private swimming pool at the Verrerie d'Ivoy is open free of charge to guests of the Annex and the Workshop generally from mid-May to mid-September, a little extra after a day of exploring the surrounding area...
This 4m/12m pool is heated by a heat pump powered by solar panels. It has a salt filtration and electrolysis system. A telescopic shelter secures the pool outside swimming hours.
The swimming pool with its surroundings constitutes a space shared with the owners, accessible according to the weather and the time slots defined on site throughout the seasons (rental of pool towels on site if necessary).

Hiking trails and small tarmac roads in the vicinity of Verrerie d'Ivoy:
Several hiking and even equestrian routes exist in the town of Ivoy-Le-Pré, one of the largest in France. In Pays Fort Sancerrois the networks of rural paths are dense: to take them is to discover the richness of the landscapes where the bocage, the open plains, the deciduous forests or the hills of Sancerrois intertwine.
The small asphalt roads with little car traffic are also a good opportunity for bike rides. ( electric bike rental in Aubigny during the summer ) .

Walks along the water on the old canal from Sauldre to Argent like the Step Paddle , a paddle board that takes you forward on the water, a quiet activity that strengthens the calves...
